Insight #2: Expertise Travels Well.

This year, SCRIBERS[HUB] turns ten!
Over the past decade, we’ve learned a lot and to mark our 10-year anniversary, we’re sharing one of those lessons each month – drawn from years of matching brilliant minds with demanding briefs.
For a long time, many clients assumed one thing: The writer needed to be nearby.
“Are they based in our city?”
“Can they come into the office?”
“How quickly can we get them in for a meeting?“
At the time, “meeting” almost always meant being in the room together.
Then came 2020.
Almost overnight, remote collaboration became normal. Video calls replaced meetings, distributed teams became standard, and the question of location quietly lost its importance.
What mattered instead became much clearer: Expertise.
The best writer for a brief might be in Hamburg, Vienna, London – or somewhere else entirely. What matters is their understanding of the industry, the audience and the nuance required.
For SCRIBERS[HUB], this shift confirmed something we had long believed: Great work doesn’t depend on geography. It depends on the right match.
What has remote work changed in your industry?
