When the need is greatest, it's usually a race against time: clients no longer have time to acquire suitable freelancers, review work samples, and check references. They need to find the perfect match quickly. And in addition to professional competence, the chemistry has to be right for the short-notice project to be successful. With our BEHIND THE SCENES, we offer a glimpse behind the scenes of our work and let you share in our most interesting placements.
Strategy follows conception, follows To Do's
Especially in this age of information overload, where the flood of messages bombarding us is constantly increasing, content must stand out by being compelling, emotionally engaging, and offering real value. A content strategy is therefore essential from the outset, and the following questions must be clearly answered:
✓ Who is the target group we want to reach?
✓ How do we address them, and on which (social media) channel can we best reach the users?
✓ What should the (visual) language be like to reach the target audience?
The importance of data (data-driven content) is also growing and is essential for content strategy and, consequently, for content creativity. We often receive inquiries from clients who don't yet have these parameters in place because everything needs to happen quickly and simultaneously. Therefore, the principle is: strategy follows conception, which in turn follows to-dos.
Tailor-made needs analysis
For a client seeking home-based copywriters for the launch of an online magazine, these questions remained unanswered. During the initial consultation, the magazine's requirements and ideas were clarified, and the implementation of each section was defined. This was followed by a data analysis that revealed the target audience's needs. SEO keywords were also determined in advance. This allowed us to work with the client to define the text requirements, and the recruitment of suitable authors was precisely targeted. Since the magazine focused on medical fields, authors and specialist journalists with extensive medical expertise were required. We call this deep-dive research, and SCRIBERS[HUB] specializes in this. Our network comprises selected, verified freelancers with expertise across numerous specialist areas—experts in in-depth knowledge, so-called "deep-rooted" specialists. Within 24 hours, we assembled a remote team of six specialist journalists for the client. The first blog posts were assigned just one day later, and by the online magazine's launch date, 50 articles were already online. Therefore, the thorough needs analysis at the beginning didn't delay the process, but rather accelerated it. The "why" followed the "how" and "who." This allowed the remote team to create the planned blog posts precisely as intended and within the deadline. This strategy worked perfectly!
