In the interview series “Content-Buzzer”, Sabine Fäth, founder of SCRIBERS[HUB]Communication professionals ask these questions every two weeks:

Laura Nodolph, Content Marketing Manager at Makersite

What does content mean for you?

Good content informs, entertains, helps its readers, or does all of these things at once. Good content cannot be (easily) measured in sales figures. Sometimes readers actively search for good content, and sometimes they stumble upon it quite by chance. Good content keeps a brand top of mind and in the back of their mind. Good content is good branding.

What was the worst content you met?

Content that – subtly – promotes one's own product/service.

How does good content succeed in times of chatt and Co.?

Demonizing AI is, in my opinion, wrong. AI tools can be very helpful in content creation – especially for informative and SEO-specific content. Firstly, there are numerous useful research tools available, and secondly, tools like ChatGPT can drastically reduce the time spent simply writing text. AI tools can also assist with brainstorming and creating an initial structure. It's important to note, however, that the generated texts must be treated with caution. Proofreading and fact-checking are essential. Furthermore, one shouldn't expect original texts from AI (at least not yet). Although we already refer to ChatGPT as AI, it doesn't yet qualify as artificial intelligence capable of generating new insights independently of humans.

Complete the sentence: Content is always...

… only as deeply immersed in the subject as its author.
