The trend is towards freelancing
Freelancers were often used as “fire brigades” and “emergency solutions” when there were capacity bottlenecks. However, in times of great shortage of skilled workers, they now play a much more important role. They provide new impulses and inspiration from outside, bring exactly the skills needed at the moment and help to set up organizational structures in an agile manner.
That is why they are increasingly becoming an integral part of the HR strategy, as knowledge workers are needed. That's why more and more HR managers are contacting us who previously didn't even bother with the use of freelancers ("we're doing it in our specialist departments," it was always said).
The fact is: the recruitment of skilled workers has expanded to include the freelance market. Many talents are not available for 40 hours, but for challenging projects and tasks based on flexible working models (including part-time).
It often takes weeks and months to find someone permanent. Consequence: increased performance in the company, overtime, demotivation and even dismissals of employees.
By integrating digital collaboration tools, freelancers can be integrated from their home office wherever they are (provided there is good WiFi). This makes collaboration with external parties much more efficient and the talent pool expands. Companies have the choice of their freelance employees across the country or even worldwide.
Agile teams that are integrated from outside are no longer uncommon. When setting up content hubs, we also put together agile specialist teams.
Since we at SCRIBERS[HUB] rely on a curated pool of over 2,500 candidates, there is no need for time-consuming recruiting loops that cause time and additional costs - and we provide "perfect matches" within 24 hours - so the assignment can start immediately.
