“I would like to see a stronger welcoming culture for freelancers in companies”

Welcoming culture for freelancers
Welcoming culture for freelancers

Strengthened welcome culture of freelancers in the company

A plea by Scriber's [Hub] founder Sabine Fäth:
HR managers and heads of communications & marketing are increasingly reporting to us because they are increasingly relying on freelancers
The ability to quickly find the "Perfect Match" for companies is decisive for the game. Only those who have the best talent will be prepared for the now and the future. According to Stepstone calculations, a vacant position costs an average of 29,000 euros.
My thesis: It is also due to the fact that stubborn work models are considered and that the full potential in the labor market is not appealed to.
Therefore, I advocate asking yourself the following questions before searching:
✅ MUST be full-time or am I also open to a flexible work model (e.g. hybrid, remote, 20 days a month, project-related ...)?
✅ Why do I exclude a position exclusively in the employment relationship?
✅ What options for my company are solo self-employed and freelancers (need for specialized skills)?
✅ In which areas of the company can personal pieces be filled with freelancers?
Why don't I use the potential of a mixed team? Fixed employees and freelancers participate from each other and can use their entire skill set.
❗️I wish me a strengthened welcome culture of freelancers in the company❗️
Not contracts make the difference, but the variety of talents that you bundle in the company. Here a potential is lost to knowledge workers that are not used. Instead of going through a grueling and costly recruiting process for full -time positions, a freelancer is quickly ready for use and can be used in projects without long onboarding.
The wind of change blows violently in the labor market. Some build walls and the other mills ... and what do you build?
