Heike Grothe-Malzahn von text profile.
What does content mean to you?
Content worth reading is never an end in itself, always purposeful. Form and content are tailored to the target audience. Good content is always concise, clear, and original, never boring. It sparks interest, sticks in the mind, and captures attention without resorting to clickbait.
What was the worst piece of content you encountered?
The worst content is the kind that loses me as a reader after the first few words. Or it comes in the form of ragebait because the author doesn't know or can't do any better.
How does good content succeed from person to person with AI?
AI provides important ideas and inspiration. However, it is only helpful if I understand what it's about and have a concept for what the content should look like.
For example, on LinkedIn: If I position myself as an expert but leave the writing entirely to AI, not only will many readers see through it, but the new artificial intelligence behind the LinkedIn algorithm will also recognize the AI-generated text as generic and interchangeable. Unlike before, the algorithm now rewards valuable and original content more quickly. The reason: It now understands content, not just formats. If my texts are genuine and authentic, they strengthen my status as an expert and increase my reach.
What mix of talents and skills should a content team have today?
The ideal content team is on the cutting edge. It consists of both young and experienced members. It is creative and skilled at writing content tailored to the target audience. It understands the opportunities and possibilities of AI – and its limitations.
