Good content is more important than ever! That's why SCRIBERS[HUB] also provides first-class copywriters, authors and journalists for quality content. In the “Content Buzzer” interview series, Sabine Fäth, founder of SCRIBERS[HUB], asks communications professionals these questions every 14 days:
Peter Höpfner, founder PETIT MEDIA Content & Communication
What does content mean for you?
Content is everywhere, really. But sometimes it's also somehow nowhere at all. Because often, the core of the term is missing: the content itself. Because that's precisely what it's all about. What's contained within. That's what counts! And that's what makes content what it should be for me: relevant! Unfortunately, the term "content" is sometimes overused and occasionally misleading. Crucially, the right communication is key. Because even the best content is wasted if it doesn't reach the people it was created for.
What was the worst content you met?
It's really easy to complain about bad content. And of course, it exists: when technical errors are made, facts are mixed up, distorted, or omitted. When content is brutally ingratiating or simply too calculated/calculating. Although sometimes it's also a matter of taste. Because even if some content doesn't resonate with me, it might perfectly appeal to other readers.
How does good content work?
Through dedication. Commitment. Energy. Emotion. Good content stands for MORE: wanting to see, read, hear, know, and experience more. And when creating it, the foundation of the message must always be right: What, where, for whom, when, and why!
Complete the sentence: Content is always...
…Challenge, responsibility. And fun!
