Good content is more important than ever! That's why SCRIBERS[HUB] also provides first-class copywriters, authors and journalists for quality content. In the “Content Buzzer” interview series, Sabine Fäth, founder of SCRIBERS[HUB], asks communications professionals these questions every 14 days:
Andreas von Richthofen, Communication & Sales Consultant
What does content mean to you??
The ideally sustainable transmission of information across all channels, with concrete added value for the recipient.
This could be a press release, a video on the website, a book or a live lecture; it's always about knowledge transfer.
What was the worst content you met?
An article revised by the customer. Sounds really strange, but it's true.
The Head of Sales changed our article so drastically with technical terms and Anglicisms that hardly anyone understood what it was about anymore.
When asked about this, in the presence of the press spokesman, the joint answer was:
"We have extremely high standards for ourselves, and this article demonstrates that. We are aware that only a maximum of 5% of our customers understand this, but this is our benchmark, our understanding of quality.".
Conclusion: You can do it that way, but it's crap...
How does good content work?
If I know who the recipient is, I know which channels and when I can best reach them.
An interdisciplinary team consisting of editorial staff, video production, graphics, marketing/sales and social media, is a good basis for good content, as it is created and distributed taking into account diverse perspectives.
Complete the sentence: Content is always...
… a challenge, because good content is almost an art form.
