10 years SCRIBERS[HUB] – 10 lessons learned
Ten years in communications is long enough to see the market shift several times – journalism contracting, content marketing expanding, remote work becoming standard, global teams needing specialist B2B content, AI revolution, GEO becomes the new SEO, LinkedIn boost, personal branding…
Over the next ten months, we’ll share ten lessons from a decade of matching brilliant minds with brilliant content and often fairly complex briefs.
Let’s start right at the beginning.
Insight #1: Access Is Easy. Precision Is Rare.
In 2016, SCRIBERS[HUB] launched as a searchable database of verified freelance writers. The idea was independence and transparency: companies could browse profiles and connect directly.
What we observed surprised us.
Most clients didn’t want to browse. They wanted clarity – someone who understood their brief, their market, their deadlines – and could recommend the right person quickly and with confidence.
That insight led to our early pivot from platform to boutique agency model – from searchable profiles to curated expertise.
A decade later, that principle still defines how we work. With a curated network of over 5,500 verified professional freelance writers, precision creates trust. And trust creates long-term partnerships.
What have the past ten years taught you about your communication challenges?
SCRIBERS[HUB] — The Write Choice. Since 2016.
